Malibu is the first puppy born at Casa Hoya’s, and I guess that’s why she is still with us :)
We didn’t plan on keeping 2 puppies from our first litter, but we just couldn’t let her go! Several people said that Kahlúa was the “pick” of the litter, but we had a weakness for Malibu also. When she wasn’t sold yet at 12 weeks we decided to keep them both.
We never regret that, and actually Malibu did better in the showring then Kahlúa!!
Malibu won a Group One, and took a Group 2 also!! When she was only 18 months old she became European Champion and BOB in Paris over several champions!
Malibu loves to work with you, but definitely has a mind of her own, so she is quite a challenge sometimes!
She earned her certificate for EG A, EG B and EG C (obedience) with very good results!!!
In 2005 Malibu produced a lovely litter of 12 puppies, 3 of them already became a champion!
