Dima is the first PWD to win a group in the Netherlands and Denmark at an International show!!!
In Denmark he ranked as #1 PWD of the year 2004!!
In the Netherlands, Dima was reserve Best Dog of the Year 2004!!
Dutch TopDog competition #1 group 8 and #3 overall with 54 pt.
Before he reached the age of 3 years, Dima had won Group ONE ten times in 4 different
countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark & Sweden) and has a total of 19 group placements!
In autumn 2005 Dima was shown in the USA and he did marvelous there too. He won Best of Winners at the
PWDCA National Specialty in Maryland (defeated over 300 PWDs for that!) and finished his American
Championship within a month, all breeder/owner/handled!!
Dima took a break from the showring for about a year. His first time back out was at the Worldshow in Poland 2006 where
he took Best of Breed over a nice entry of 29 pwds! At the moment we show him now and then as he enjoys it so much and he's
still in great condition! The 8 shows he has been to in 2007 he won Breed every time and made the cut in the group.
He won Best in Group in Groningen and back to back Best in Group and BIS3 and BIS4 in Vejen (Denmark) August 11 & 12! In Lausanne (Switserland) he won a group 3
In 2008 he finished 3 more Championship titles and won Best of Breed at all 4 shows he attended. Dima won a group 2 three times!!
After long consideration, and after talking with other breeders and our veterinarian, we decided to
use Dima once for our own breeding program. Ashanti was the proud mommy of 9 lovely puppies sired by

Dima is a true water Portuguese Water Dog. Whether on land or in the water, he is not content unless
he is pleasing his handler.
